ABS and EBS systems preserve steering control under hard braking by preventing the wheels from locking. Contaminated sensors, breaks in the wiring loom or valve and modulator faults reveal themselves through a hard brake pedal, warnings in the instrument cluster and longer stopping distances.
We check the wheel speed sensors, pressure modulators and control unit communication with an oscilloscope and dedicated test equipment. Only the faulty line or module is identified and repaired, with no compromise to driving safety.
